Types of textile slings

Roundslings are among the most widely used textile slings for lifting loads. Thanks to their flexible construction, they adapt to the shape of the lifted object, distributing pressure evenly and reducing the risk of surface damage.

Available in a wide range of working load limits and lengths, roundslings are suitable for numerous applications across the industrial, transport, and construction sectors.

Webbing slings are a versatile solution designed for everyday lifting and load-handling operations. Their flat construction provides a large contact area with the load, helping to distribute pressure evenly and reduce stress on the lifted object.

Thanks to their design, webbing slings are particularly well suited for handling painted components, steel structures, pipes, tanks, and equipment where protection of the load surface against damage is essential.

Aramid slings are designed for use in environments where standard polyester slings do not provide sufficient heat resistance. Manufactured from high-performance aramid fibres, they retain their mechanical properties even when exposed to elevated temperatures.

They are commonly used in steel mills, foundries, metal processing plants, and other applications where contact with hot components or exposure to high temperatures is a regular part of the lifting operation.

Slings equipped with Cordura® protective covers are designed for handling loads with sharp edges or rough surfaces. The additional protective layer significantly increases the sling’s resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage.

This solution is commonly used for lifting and transporting steel structures, precast concrete elements, and industrial components with irregular shapes, where enhanced protection against wear is essential.
